Roof Coating & Roof Sealing Shropshire

For customers that have had roof repairs carried out involving mortar replacement then adequate drying time is allowed before the application of the roof coating or roof sealer can be applied. Equally for some properties in heavily shaded north facing elevations similar time must be allowed for the tiles to dry out from the roof cleaning process.

With favourable weather conditions the contractor will apply a heavy application of a premium quality fungicidal wash to ensure that any remaining sub surface moss and algae spores are eradicated before moving on to apply the roof product.

With a preselected coloured roof coating from the Climashield™ product range supplied by Smartseal UK, one of the UK's leading sealant suppliers, and all sensitive areas once again fully protected the contractor will start by cutting in the perimeter of the roof structure by hand to reduce any incidence of over spray. Once this has been completed the rest of the roof structure can be coated utilising an airless spray unit. A solid first coat is applied to the concrete roof tiles, this is then allowed to dry then a second application is sprayed on  to further strengthen the colour retentive and protective quality of the Climashield™ roof coat.

For customers that have clay tiles or slates then a clear sealer is the recommend course of action to protect and enhance the natural attributes of these products.

The Climashield™ product has been specifically manufactured to a consistency that ensures deep penetration into the tile strata that promotes longevity in colour retention whilst maximising the protective elements contained within the product that inhibits "green growth" whilst allowing the tiles to flex and expel moisture.
